The music for your special day should perfectly complement the whole of your celebration whether it is gloriously grand or elegantly informal. The music that you choose will set the atmosphere from the moment the wedding party arrives.
An experienced wedding singer based in the north west of England, Louise has sung at weddings all over Britain and at all sorts of venues; from historic monuments and country hotels, to tiny churches and huge cathedrals. She has a beautiful expressive voice and can perform a wide range of music, in English, French, Italian, German or Russian, from Mozart to Lloyd-Webber, from opera to love songs.
Your choice of music is very personal and Louise is happy to discuss special requests if you have a favourite song; or she can make suggestions from her large repertoire which includes music for both religious and civil ceremonies.
Most typically Louise would sing during the signing of the register, but can also sing at the start of the ceremony, the processional entry, before the vows, or to conclude the service. Additionally she is able to provide lighter entertainment during the reception.
Louise can arrange her own accompaniment, but she is equally happy to work with the venue accompanist, church organists and choirs, or with a pre-recorded accompaniment. Louise can also perform at your wedding as part of an ensemble and would be delighted to organise this or to put you in touch with other musicians.
Louise knows that every wedding is a wonderful and unique event and always feels that it is a privilege to be part of such an important day. She will take time and care to produce a performance which is truly personal to you and your day, and loves to meet over a cup of tea to chat about your preferences and ensure that your wedding music will be just the way you want it.
Fees for weddings are agreed in advance and average from £120 to £150 depending upon travelling distance. (Please note you will need to pay any other performers in addition).
